Morecca

Morecca is a Venezuelan DJ, percussionist and music curator based in Perth, Australia. Rooted in percussion and shaped by years of moving between cultures, her approach to music is driven by rhythm, groove and the art of reading a room. Her sets move through house, deep and soulful grooves, disco, funk, Latin rhythms and left-field electronic sounds, connecting different eras and influences without being tied to a single genre. Her career has taken her through clubs, rooftops, festvials, cultural spaces and luxury hospitality venues across Europe and the Middle East, with performances at Pacha Barcelona, COYA, W Hotels, Blossom Festival among others. Alongside DJing, Morecca incorporates electronic percussion into her performances, bringing a physical and rhythmic dimension to the dance floor. Her work also extends into event curation and music direction, exploring the relationship between sound, place, culture and collective experience. For Morecca, music is less about following a formula than finding the thread that connects people, movement and atmosphere.
