Cecile

Hi! I’m Cécile, a French-born artist and musician with a lifelong love for music. I began with seven years of piano before moving to alto saxophone, studying classical and jazz at music school. Jazz is my main passion, but I’m versatile and love performing with DJs, at jam sessions, and in a variety of bands and orchestras. Since moving to Australia in 2018, I’ve expanded my musical journey with performances at venues such as Marble Bar and Potts Point, and collaborations with multiple bands. I also spent two years with ILE ILU, a women-led Brazilian batucada samba group, performing at events and festivals including Subsonic, Samba Encontro de Sydney, and Vivid 2024. I’ve been booked for weddings, private events, and DJ-led gigs across Sydney, always bringing energy, musicality, and a creative touch to every performance.
