I Started playing guitar in 1989 at age 16. I was Self taught but I got some guidance from my old friend Dave Roberts, from Munster Terrace & flying red dogs in the early 90’s when I would walk a 10 kilometer round trip to attend weekly guitar lessons which took place at a guitar and musical instrument shop in Rosebud/McCrae…They would always turn into shop jams with the proprietor Stu, cranking up some guitar amps and getting a drum kit involved. Legendary times. I Played in a few covers bands up to age 21 and began writing songs for my first original band. Never looked back. Have recorded a number of live studio albums, with very minimal press and archived many more recordings. I Recorded my first independent album titled ‘bare your soul’ in 2012, produced by Ray Luckhurst. “I Started leaning towards playing ‘my style’ blues around 2001 and I think I’m comfortable with that.” I was raised on blues and country western. I Held a few residencies over the years, mainly in the city and eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I tend to play not so well known covers which weave through my own songs in my live sets. But I will attempt any request thrown at me. I’ve been very lucky or more so grateful for so many venues allowing me to indulge in me playing my music to the public over the course of my 25 years as a Solo artist.
