Bourdon River Band

Bourbon River are a 4 Piece Classic Pub Rock Band. The fun these guys produce on stage is contagious, they predominantly play Australian Rock Covers that are everyone’s favourites and throw in a great mix of songs designed to get people up dancing and keep them there. The band comprises of Darren Wombey, recently joined Singer Guitarist with years of experience playing around Sydney. Darren has a large and verstile vocal range with great energy and stage presence and a passion for entertaining. The lead Guitarist John Girvin is unforgettable as he blasts through lead breaks with close to perfect replications of the original artists with an extensive sound pallet true to each genre of music. John is also an accomplished vocalist with experience playing and singing outside of Australia. Rick Williams is a consummate Bass player who is a stickler for perfection and a purist for tone. His solid rhythmic bass gives the audience a musical mastery experience highlighting his dexterity, subtlety and skill. Rod Gillard is the solid drumming backbone of the group. He is an accomplished musician and is responsible for forming the band and selecting most of the repertoire. He is passionate about everything he plays. Coupled with his vast experience and dedication to his craft he is a professional performer that understands how to play to the audience.
