Billy Bakos

Billy has played drums professionally for many decades, based in Brisbane, previously also playing Far North Qld & Sydney, and on Carnival cruise ships in America, based in LA, Florida & Louisiana, as a sight reading showband drummer. Blessed with formal jazz training, complex charts and cheat sheets make learning repertoires fast and accurate. The ability to play to clicks and tracks make it enjoyable and easy to jump into bands, backing artists on the fly. When in regular bands and lineups, priority is on consistency. All styles covered from rock and pop, to country, blues, roots, funky & vintage rock n roll. Theres always time for a last minute call up, a tour or weekly regular band performances.
