Aurora MacKrill

**Singer. Actor. Cabaret artist. Character creator. MC.** With more than 20 years in the entertainment industry, Aurora MacKrill is a performer with a particularly eclectic musical toolkit and a knack for making an audience feel like they’re part of the show. A vocalist, actor, writer and producer, Aurora creates and performs character-driven stage shows that move comfortably between jazz, cabaret, musical theatre, comedy and popular music. Her repertoire ranges from the sophisticated to the gloriously unexpected, with a particular love of artists and material that allow her to bring character, storytelling and a healthy dose of personality to the stage. Her work includes *Liza & All That Jazz*, *Simply Divine*, *Three Fabulous Blondes*, and a variety of original and character-based productions. She has performed everywhere from intimate jazz clubs and cabaret rooms to major conferences, festivals and concert stages across Australia and internationally. Aurora is equally at home behind a microphone as an MC, where her musicality, warmth, wit and clear speaking voice have made her a sought-after host for major conferences and events. Whether she’s fronting a band, inhabiting a character, creating a cabaret show or performing with acoustic duo **AC & the Bounce**, Aurora brings the same thing to the stage: **music, personality, humour and a very direct connection with the audience.** She doesn’t just perform *at* an audience. She brings them into the room.
