Astronafrica is a Brazilian-born, Sydney-based DJ and cultural curator whose sets fuse house, jazz, moody dub, and psychedelic undertones with a deep-rooted passion for percussion and diasporic rhythms. His sound is a global tapestry—soulful, rhythmic, and always evolving. Living in Sydney for over two decades, Astronafrica began his musical journey in 2007 on Eastside Radio 89.7FM, hosting a weekly show that ran for 11 years and featured music from Brazil alongside interviews with local and international artists.
