Andrew Curry

Andrew Curry has been singing and playing guitar for over three decades. From a family of entertainers, he has performed on stage, screen and in pubs around Australia, bringing an entertaining flair to audiences from solo regional pub gigs to 8-piece rock band with horn sec@on at the Crown Palladium and Federa@on Square. OEen seen fron@ng his band “Johnny Wonderpants”, Andrew has held residencies at famous Melbourne watering holes the Armadale Hotel , Jimmy Rowe’s Bar and Café (Don’t look for those two – they’re not there any more…) the Arcadia Hotel, and the College Lawn Hotel (16 years of Sunday Sessions at that one!). He has played solo, duo and trio acous@c gigs all around the country, oEen playing with his brothers and mates. He’s actually been doing it so long that he now also does gigs with his 21 year old daughter, Ella. Andrew covers styles such as pop, rock, country, ballads, sad, happy and comedy. He loves taking requests, as long as it’s not to “stop too soon”. Whether it’s just him singing and playing with a loop pedal, or he’s joined by other talented musos, Andrew Curry’s individual entertaining style and relaxed, friendly banter is always on the setlist.
