Colloquially hailed as “country without the O," Amy Solylo has her heels dug deep into a bold new corner of Australian country-pop, and she does not mind getting her boots dirty to do it. Her mother once wrote in the margins of her baby book that she could “carry a tune before she could carry a sentence” - and she’s been overcompensating at both since.
