Amin & Lachlan are an exciting Adelaide-based act blending old school blues with a unique modern flare and energy. This musical pairing's influences span across time and genre ranging from early 1920s-1940s Delta and Appalachian Blues greats like Blind Willie McTell and Charley Patton to modern storytellers like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Big Thief. They are the winners of the 2026 Adelaide Roots and Blues Association's Memphis Blues Challenge and will be traveling to Memphis Tennessee in January 2027 to compete in the International Blues Challenge. Amin & Lachlan have supported some of Australia's biggest blues legends including Nathan Cavaleri, Frank Sultana, Mahalia Barnes + The Soul Mates and Nick Charles as well as performing at the Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival, Port Noarlunga Blues Festival, Semaphore Music Festival and Adelaide Blues Festival. Released in April 2026, their debut EP 'Live at Barossa South Studios' was produced by Nigel Bourn and Peter Nixon from Adelaide's own 'The Honey Badgers' featuring a raw style that captures the energy of their live performances.
