Adam Barnard

Drummer, playing jazz and swing, in it's various forms ranging from 1920s, 30s, 40, 50s and elsewhere, for the last forty something years. Also play old school washboard and percussion. Third of four generations in music - grandparents ran a successful dance band in Melbourne in the 40s & 50s; father and uncle (Bob Barnard and Len Barnard) both internationally acclaimed jazz musicians and though both gone now are still a name in the music scene. Brother is a successful guitarist and two nephews, both keyboardists, working all over the world. I've worked with many Aussie jazz legends, including James Morrison, George Washingmachine, Ignatius Jones, Mic Conway and Don Burrows. Currently working with many bands, including The Aston Martinis, King Creole, Tipsey and The Tonics, The Faculties, Dr Gumbo, Greg Poppleton, Pia Andersen's Queenie and The Cavaliers and Bootsie's Four Piece Trio.
